Speaker Bio:  Entrepreneur Matt Wimmer has built and sold his shares in three different companies and now is getting ready to launch his fourth company this Spring.  While he enjoys the “rush” of starting new companies and watching them grow the excitement pales in comparison to what he experiences daily as “husband” and “dad”.  Matt will share how his passion grew when he decided to become intentional about building a culture inside the home.  Matt believes EVERY closely held business needs three essential plans for survival and success-A Family Plan, Strategic Plan, and Succession Plan. While most business owners spend hours and hours on their Strategic Plan few spend any time on the equally if not more important Family Plan. Matt will share excerpts out of the book he is co-authoring “A Business Plan for Boys- Transferring Successful Business Principles to the Art of Raising Sons”.  Matt is President of the Seattle chapter of EO (formally known as the Young Entrepreneurs Organization) www.eonetwork.org, a founder of IMPACT www.findingpurpose.org (A PNW community service organization for men inspired to be better husbands, fathers, and leaders), and several boards. He is happily married 15 years to the wife of his youth Cindy. They have 3 children and attend the new church startup in Bellevue, The Downtown Church www.thedowntownchurch.us.
